How to Set Up a UK proxy in Internet Explorer
If you are using Internet Explorer just click on tools then Internet Options, click the connections tab, then the configure LAN button and in the new pop up you should see proxy server tick this, and put in the ip address and port 808 and save and all should be fine, but I suggest you go a little further and click the advanced tab and complete as in the image below:

In regards to the ip address you can use the one above, which does work but you will need a username and password, which I am happy to let you use just send an email to stephen@iplayerproxy4u.com .
Since doing this all was fine on watching the BBC Iplayer and ITV’s version, but for some reason I was not able to get it to work for 4oD , Demand Five or TVCatchup, but now I have found a work around by downloading FoxyProxy Video Utility.
I was using vista and the windows 32-bit option and it worked fine. Obviously be careful if you go with the Foxyproxy as it is configuring your operating system to use the proxy, because if anything goes wrong I will not be able to fix it for you.
Saying that I uninstalled the application without any trouble, also you should be using the restore point so whenever you install any new software, you can take the computer back to how it was configured before you installed (this can be a life saver at times).
